TRILLA

Attics are an intriguing place to be in and often have an adventurous feeling about them.
My inspiration for Trilla was old boats; the lubber’s hole, shrouds, ropes and steering wheels. Trilla is an attic ladder that can be used as a climbing wall to go up and down to the attic as well as using the plank as an elevator for boxes. The steering wheel and pulleys are used to make the hauling of the stairs up and down easier.
Trilla was my final project in the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
