Local Langoustine

Local Langoustine is a new mobile restaurant in Höfn í Hornafirði, a fishing town in the southeastern part of the country.

A cultural highlight of the town is the annual Humarhátíð (a lobster festival) held on the first weekend of July, and the lobster (or more accurately langoustine) is a big part of the towns identity.

I was hired to do the visual look of the restaurant and the menu of Local Langoustine. I had  free hands to do whatever I liked (Yay!) and I decided to draw inspiration from the sea (Höfn literally means harbor) and playful paper cutouts.
